31 cigarette bullet will ride alot better than a 33 baja.

So would a 312 Fastech. Better ride, heavier boat, great handling. It will hold up better in the long run also!

A 312 is a comparable ride and length to a 30 Outlaw. A 33 OL will ride better in the rough.

I would like to throw my 35' into the wave crushing contest. It will eat water, not blow up drives, be reliable. Run 72 drives out and 75+ drives in.
Plus its pure cigarette and looks sexy.

Man, he just got that boat all redone... That certainely seems like the buy to be making. I was parked next him last Aug. at the OSO party on Fri P.M. at dog days and that thing looked pristine (I actually talked to the guy for a few minutes about the new paint and all the upgrades).

That one shouldn't last long..

I don't think so Griff, the 312 weighing more than the 33 has a very comparable ride, and with same power is 7-8mph faster. Granted the single step helps, but overall hull design has to have something to do with it too.

A 312 is 3.5 feet shorter than 33 outlaw. You need the length to span and stay on top of the waves. A 312 is listed as weighing about 500lbs more than 33OL. 500lbs is the difference of an extra 80 gallons of fuel and not that significant.

Usually I'm a firm believer in longer is better, but
after driving Eddie's before he owned it, and the 312 we traded for last fall, both with 496s, 375hp, I'd still say the 312
would be my choice between the two models, JMHO.:ernaehrung004:

I think a lot of it might come from "feel" since the 33 OL cockpit is HUGE and open and being more forward in the boat.

Now you need to come for a ride in the AT and put them both to shame:D:D

I'll take you up on that invite anytime, I'd love to take a ride in your boat, next time your down we need to hook up.:ernaehrung004:
