The Support Our Troops run is a pretty awesome time! Done that few times and it's always been worth it.

You looking for a condo or hotel.................. I would go on VRBO and get a condo close to the Shootout, it's at Capt. Ron's which is at the 35MM, so a place anywhere from 20MM and 39MM would be perfect, but to assure of getting a place I would reserve it sooner than later, at lot of the condos have slips that go with them.............see you there.

Plenty of availability at both Land's End and Parkview Bay condos. Both are near Dog Days at the 19 MM which is a nice somewhat "tweener" spot to be able to get to the Shootout without traveling too awful far and a short ride to a lot of the lake's on-water hot spots.

Having done the Shootout since around 2001 and participating in the SOTPR 3 different times I have to say I'd give an edge to the Shootout.
