I bought a 39' MTI with no power. Number sixes with big power will be installed. Props turning in or out? What diameter prop works best? Propshaft height above bottom?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Definatly need pics, what boat is it.
Wheels turn in, Something in the 16.5-16.8 range, No bigger.
Mti's really like Herrrings, Mine would not run at all with Mercs.
I would really call mti and talk to gary about putting the 6's on if it doean't already have them. That a critical Measurement and Gary has a little different twist than some of the other guys.
NOW, where are those pics, we know you didn't buy something with them.

The boat is the old "Pacemaker" that was rigged and throttled by Chris Reindl and owned and driven by a heart surgeon in Alabama. The boat was raced only two times and finished once. It was built and sold as a "blank" by MTI and all of the work was done by Reindel in Cincinnati. It sat for about two years with no power in it but with drives etc. It has a "colorful" history.

That is the boat. Never heard the name of the boat, but the owner was a doctor. That also explains the horrible rigging. But that will all change. The boat is being stripped now. Not keeping a single thing in the boat except the throttles. It does have some great Imco 4 x 4's I am selling. See the ad.
