Just a quick nearly end of season wrap up: we put around 30 hours on the boat in a few weeks, over 2000 miles, and countless gallons of 93 octane through the new boat with ZERO issues!
We spent quite a bit of time dialing the new boat in with the new 8R drives and have now struck a great balance of speed, acceleration and handling.
So far I haven't found anything I would change on the boat, even little things, and that's a bit unusual for me as I can't seem to leave things alone!
Now to put a ton more hours on it and enjoy! Maybe it will head south this winter..........

Guys, I am going to bring back a decade old thread!
But, I always loved this boat back when it was built. I also loved the previous SummerObsession Skater 40 classic.
whatever happened to both of those boats? Where are they now? Were they replaced with something current?

SummerO has an amazing Apache now, he is still around hopefully he chimes in.
