Our industry is the same way, vendors at this point will give us a quote that is only good for 30 days, and the new one is never less.
The next thing is just like during COVID delays in delivery, now our shelter manufactures are giving us 44-46 week lead times!
I have said it before and will again, where is the added cost coming from? SOMEONE has to be making more for things to cost more yet I know no one keeping up with the cost increases. Yes I know Tarif's are part of it but this was going on before those.

There is still COVID liquidity floating around. The Fed increased the value of dollars in circulation by a quarter in a single year. That’s the most important factor.
And Biden added fiscal stimulus on top. And Trump’s duties, continued government deficit and falling dollar make it even worse if you are paying with dollars.
Two stubborn old men who didn’t listen to the good advice they could certainly get if they wanted.
Now, can we go back to talking about boats?
