Mind if I share?
This time of year is always fun to look back.
Wonderful reminders of all the fun and friends- good times all over the place. But, I'm constantly reminded of how I can get distracted- I'll go to an archive to pull a shot for a print or whatever and totally forget where I am for hours... :bong: Everything is a bit too much, so I've been adding to a new gallery on the fly- random shots that come into view for one reason or another. For me it's nearly a 'dear diary' look at my days... http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/8...nglife1800.jpg |

Kinda Commercial and Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!
Just wanted to take a second to come up for air...
this was a weekend I ain't gonna forget for a long time. I just have to stop and shout out some thanks to all my friends and sponsors... the people who have become lifelong friends and have helped and advised me in ways that enable me to continue covering these beasts we all love. There's a growing list, but I want to especially recognize Bobthebuilder and my buds in FMO where I figured out quick this was a scene to be a part of. And some very special thanks to Rick Mackie at Mercury Racing, and my friends Todd and Nick at Statement Marine for their continuing support. In my view, industry leaders and innovators I am proud to call friends. 2013 is gonna be great! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8476/8...9f843981_o.jpg |
Speaking of innovations...
you will see them in Miami. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8363/8...f0470123_o.jpg |

Thank you- that shot was one that I knew as I was shooting it would be special.
They weren't quite as close as it looks and were playing with the drives for me- I was shooting off the back of Bob's Nor-Tech. Frank had been hoping for another classic shot like this one of Warrior from a couple years earlier. The man loves him some quad 50 Nor-Techs. :cool-smiley-011: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2338/2...d64deaa2_b.jpg |

4-Way Street
From deep in the archives, spring '07, PRA Sarasota in Charlotte Harbor.
There were condos under construction at the point- and I managed to get a 3rd floor balcony perch. Different gear back then, I can sure tell a diff in quality. :lolhit: Still, a fantastic day. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8085/8...d5018ba4_o.jpg |

Early morning shot from the deck at AJ's. The cleaning crew had just arrived and were sweeping the huge deck with leaf blowers. :cool-smiley-027:

Birds On The Beach
Thanks for the support.
You meet all kinds on the intertoobz. I wasn't fortunate enough to meet any of these heartbreakers... but they held still long enough for a shot. :cartman: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/7...apr9504pub.jpg |
Hope that is OK? |

For those of you interested, I was there to document some EDock festivities with Delo and Rachel and a few of the peeps.
Had a wonderful time in an incredible place. :party-smiley-020: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3696/1...91494a61_h.jpg |
EDock's rep is well-deserved. They are the friendliest, loudest, most fun-loving group I know.
There's never a doubt it will be a memorable time. The groom-to-be... getting ready for the big night. :evilb: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3772/1...1c6e6b8d_h.jpg |

There are a few things in life that will make me pull off the highway. :cartman:
An interesting sky with possibility of great sunset is one. This was happening as I was rolling over the Sunshine Skyway so I stopped for a while. The pattern started breaking down a while later, so no great sunset, but it did make for a cool shot. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2878/1...a4de3155_h.jpg |

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7307/1...330e8dbc_o.jpg SUNNY MORNING CABO Sea of Cortez shot looks excellent. The angle of the beach was super steep. Go in the water a few steps and you were over your head. Abundant fish life . |

Beautiful down there- most of the traffic on the water looked like fishing vessels. No fishing on this one... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7333/1...b59c99d5_o.jpg |
