GREAT Price, I am assuming that is the 1200.

i re-rigged a grady white with a pair of yamahas this spring that had 6 of em in it...i had never seen em before so i was very curious..the boat had a inverter panel in it so i turned it on and ran my lil boombox for some tunes and my drop light for two whole days...the batteries then cranked and started the motors without any hesitation..i asked the customer about em he says he loves em..runs to the canyon(90 miles) and sleeps out there using the lights microwave and some other stuff ..he said they have yet to fail him...

Ran into this outfit at the Tampa Boat Show http://www.odysseysoutheast.com/contact.php -- there is a stocking dealer in Tampa as well.
AFter talking to the boat show dealer I'm impressed. It sure makes the Optima look way to sensitive--and overpriced.

I have a few questions.... First is that CA or CCA, there is a diffeance CA is ratated at 32 deg. and CCA's at 0 deg....But even 1200 ca's is a lot. Also, Wouldn’t you want a larger Reserve capacity? That what’s going to let the stereo crank while you’re floating and having a cocktail?

All the numbers mumbo-jumbo regards batteries makes no sense to me. Even the warranties are bizarre.
I just get one from somebody that will exchange eveyr 11 months whne it "fails".

as far as CA and CCA I'm also not all up to snuff on the lingo
but i can tell you that if you are cranking your motors for more than 20 seconds then you better stop and figure out whats going on because you shouldn't have to crank her that much to get her to start sooooooo that would mean that you should have plenty of cranking power to start any number of big bad horses with CA to spare
