Will this pump work for a 650 hp 540 using an 850 carb?

we like to run dual pumps when posible.
one electric and one mechanical.
aeromotive states that this pump will work
"For carbureted powerplants making 200-600 HP,
without the use of a separate fuel pressure regulator."
now again, i can tell you that we use this pump on
on our engine packages from 620-800 hp but we
do like to run the mechanical as well.

We have just reduced the price of the AEROMOTIVE pump down
to $161.99 and the billet bracket even with the price of aluminum
going up is still at $49.97 in all colors black, blue, red, purple, pewter and polished

One of mine started leaking pretty bad from the lower gasket & plate after about 10 or so hours of use.

no not sure. Gasket looked like it absorbed gas and swelled then didn't seal right. But it might have been the other way around.

Not sure I understand why the plate is that way but seems like there could be another way to seal the bottom.

i havent seen any kind of real problems with these pumps since we started selling them. we sold over 200 of these pumps and have only had 2 or 3 problems but Aeromotive took care of them and had no issues since. i dont know who you purchased those pumps from but there should be no reason that they couldnt be able to get aeromotive to take care of you, i would have just have exchanged it for you if you had got it from me. call the guys you got those from and geth them replaced
