3600 w/ Ilmors

correct..Also buddy O, why in the hell would you rig any boat without a tranny. My choice is 700/NXT'slike the #6 better, 525-600/#6 cause you have to... or lastly Ilmor/Arneson due to low dealer service, especially in our area, who is TMP.
Has Ilmor straightened out their vapor lock issue's. I personally like the motor and was wondering how it stacked up against (700/NXT) the same boat with twins and the Arnesons.

How about Ilmore 710's and IMCO 1000's? Those are trans drives.

None were ever done at Nortech to my knowledge, but Terry would know...it's been done on a few west coast cats. At the price, you would be better off with ASD-7's or then go with 6's, just my preference, both proven drives. I'm not an IMCO fan, had my share of problems with Xtreme Adv drive..do a serch..Jeff

I have Ilmor 625's in my 36 Spectre and love them but the Teague drives have not held up behind them. So YES for the engines, but go for the #6 drives unless you can wait for Ilmor to come out with theirs.

What is the failure point for the teagues? I loooked at them at the show but was told they use the stock cone clutch, which is the weakest link in an XR, so I didnt see the point of upgrading the rest.
