congrads on the new ride, i just ordered a 36 cat myself its in mold right now. i almost went with the 43v, but have to get the cat thing out of my system first. its a great boat.

They are just getting ready to make the molds. Then build the framing and turnover stands. It will be ready late spring. We have a place on LOTO, but I hope to get this boat up on the great lakes some. Hope to make it to SOTW this year. There is also another event over at Port Huron by the same group that would be great to make it to. That one is right by the factory.

Keep us posted on your new ride. It will be fun watching the progress.

Ran into a similar problem, fried the impeller, on my friends 35 Fastek this year. We were headed for about a 50 mile trip from his house - but the impeller went bad about 10 miles out.

Luckily the day was so nice the idle trip back was great. But made me think of what I would have done had we been 50 miles away. I would have tried getting on plane with both engines, then backed the one off to idle and neutral, and shut it down. And hoped one could keep me on plane. And hoped I didn't suck water up on the shut down.
