Although the cats are extremely impressive, the point of this thread was to verify the fastest Nor-Tech V bottom - which Warbird III/V was most certainly. So, Warbird James is the winner of this thread with over 140mph reached in his boat. And let's not forget that this record was set back in 99-2000, nearly 7 yrs. ago. Congrats James - stop on by Iguana's some time to claim your winners Golden Margaritas!!!!!

No guarantees on topping WB but have a turbine 50V in the works right now.

Well that's not as fast as Haggin's 51OL with the same power(135), but I suspect the Nor-Tech is quite a bit heavier. And if you're going to run the ocean(not many lakes are large enough for a 125mph 50' V bottom), weight is a plus not a minus.
