I've noticed the slight porpoise on the PR videos too. However it's always the FPC runs where the fleet is running around 70 MPH. That's the worst speed because the air is not lifting the boat yet. It's like a plane trying to reach flight speed. Until the tunnel is fully packed it will pick up some and then fall back. The 36 doesn't achieve level flight untill around 80 MPH. Up to that speed you can use some tab to keep it level.
If you do watch the videos they usually run the boats up to speed and then everything looks great.

Terry is that the same with the Arnesons or do they ride bow down slightly cause of the design. I think a 36 with the new infused vacuum bag set up with Yanmars and ASD-8's would be a great set up. Over 100 mph, insurable, and fuel effecient.

Thanks TS, I didn't think I was imagining it.

Because of the lower gear case, a 525 boat with Bravos doesn't have the same characteristic as the # 6. So the porpoise is minimal at most speeds. I think 80 MPH is around 4200 to 4500 RPM.
Jeff, since the ASD has no bullet it doesn't force the nose down while the wind is trying to pick it up so there is almost no hop.
BTW folks we are building hull # 70 right now so they can't be too bad!
