08 Nortech 4300 Yanmar/Arneson or should I go with 700's and #6's.
Do both. Don't you always have AT LEAST 2 boats under construction.??

I told Terry to decide, I would take it either way. I guess I'll find out when I pick it up or see motor shots towards the end of the build.
If Terry wont pick Ill just go buy a CC and worry about building one over the winter once I get my ins. check.

3 questions for you:
1. What happened to your 43V diesel boat?
2. How fast was it?
3. How fast is a 39V with diesels?

1. Terry sold it.. Have another 4300 Diesel boat on order with new vacuum bag layup.
2. 74 and change, a little more room and might have hit 75. Looking for 78-80 with the new one. Also a module will be coming out shortly which will increase hp/tq, similiar to what is done on the trucks, but less hp applications.
3. I believe Terry stated in another thread with 4 people, full of gas, genny, windlass, they hit 80. Lighter load, less options and more prop testing will get closer to 85. One hell of a poker runner, especially with todays fuel prices.
