So I have managed (with the help of some great boating friends) to iron out almost all of the initial bugs that came with buying a boat with no documentation of any kind, but last night we figured out that the water pooling around the bottom step in the cabin is coming from the shower drain.
Is there a solution for this? I can't find an access hatch anywhere that might house a pump, and when I dump water down the shower drain I can't track it to any outlet other than where it is pooling at the bottom step between the head and the sink.
As usual, any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
5 days into Nor-Tech ownership and you still can't wipe the smile off of my face. What a fantastic hull and overall great boat.

Your shower sump pump is not working. Basically an auto bilge pump inside a small square box(sump) w/a clear lid . As water flows out of shower drain the box fills up. pump has to pump it out since it is too low to drain overboard. Should cycle automatically when water is running. Might have a stuck float or clogged discharge hose
