A- with less stripes
|
A- but run a red stripe down though the middle of the black.

I like A the best
|
A, but also make the 4 exhaust housings black.

Dan looks great...the only thing i may suggest is to take the 3600 SUPERCAT and keep the same height but stretch out out a bit longer...seems a little small to me....but that just me.
|
Why put any logo or model on the boat? It's not like NorTech is paying you to advertise for them. :D
Keep your haters guessing. This coming from a guy who's last performance boat looked like this: https://scontent-iad3-2.xx.fbcdn.net...HA&oe=673BF3DD :D :D Seriously, if I was putting any model or logo on any of my future boats, it will be in vinyl. It's too easy and maybe even a bit fun to change things up once in a while. I do like your final choice Dan. |

This isn`t a whole repaint, Im keeping most of the design as is to save money. At first it was just going to be "let`s make all the ugly maroon more Dan red" but then it turned into this as projects tend to spiral. I like the Nortech just like I liked Cigarette on the side of the cig. It`s staying factory and lucky for me the maroon has turned more red on the top deck since the boat spent most of it`s life in the Arizona sun. That being said it wont match the rest of the red .. hmmm .I guess we will see how that looks. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8fe4314950.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...b1be1bf8d7.jpg |

Current side.. the fade, weird cat scratches and maroon has to go .

$100 says nobody notices the red not matching... except you, but that's the hard part to live with isn't it!! :angry-smiley-038:

Ah! for some reason in my head i thought it was all white and you were going gray base....carry on :D
|
I thought you were crazy when you started this thread on doing a repaint but after seeing it in that pic at the ramp that fade job leaves a little to be desired.

Be sure and keep some white on the deck or there will be some blistered Feet from that Midwest Sunshine anyone going up to tie lines.

Savage is Bad A## looking!

I don’t know how much heat that silver would absorb compared to white. I really want to paint my trawler navy blue but it’s just not practical down here in SW Florida, 3 a/c units run full time as it is during the summer. |

If it's snowballing from inexpensive to expensive then I'm not really in love with anything I've seen yet but completely understand how this goes cause I've been there lol! |
So are you going to do a full repaint ?
|
Full repaint .
I can start with a clean slate . |

You stuck with that Corvette red because of your interior colors or is your pallet completely blank ?
I`m never stuck with red, red vette, red head wife, red 3500, half red cig. work trucks red , red is the best color! .:evilb: The transom is still silver so it has to be incorporated into the paint job, that`s my only limitation. New renditions today I hope. RED! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7980393163.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...70edd9156d.jpg |

We don`t have oil furnaces around here and Bosh I`ve never deal with either .
As long as your contractor knows the product and stand behind the warranty you should be fine. Looks like they are using pro press fittings on the refrigerant lines but brazing near the heat pump. Ive always wondered how a oring rubber seal holds up long term, I don`t think very well locally with the cold weather, we braze everything . I use pro press on water with sucess but thats 45psi vs. 350psi . i`m sure it`ll be fine .. if the contractor can afford pro press and the fittings they are most likely pretty good. |
