You may want to ask about a return/repair if it's a bad motor. They have great customer service and totally took care of me when I screwed mine up. 1-800-949-4888

My light decided not to go all the way down after this weekend, not sure what the deal is.

It happens on mine also. Did you try cleaning it and a thin lube?

No, I will try that. It also quit going all the way up.

Innovative is very helpful. I had what I thought was burned out bulb. Ordered new one. Lady who answered very helpful. Had a guy call me too to give suggestions on troubleshooting before swapping out bulbs. Found out it was a short caused by bare wires. They went above and beyond.!
Some one does need to design a power light a little more substantial though! IMO
