Default Lightning with Whippled 525!

Just had a customer come in and drop off payment for a Whipple kit for his 525 powered Lightning. This should be a nice setup. Boat runs mid 70's now. We should be getting it finished in about a month. I'm anxious to see how it runs.

Just got finished with this project. We tested with a stock 30 bravo 1 and the bimini still attached but folded back. We hit 90 on the gps speedo and it was still accelerating. That was in 90 degree air temp. We were getting 5600 rpm. I believe labbing the prop and getting the rpm up to about 5800 will put us around 93-04. Not too bad....

No. I dyno'd it before and it was kind of low. Around 465 at the prop if memory serves me. Whipple claims about 780 and I felt that would be a bit too tough on the drive to dyno it.
