The only speed run I'll get around here in December would be on the trailer going across the ice behind the truck

hey im about to replace my 28s with 38s on my Flame. how much do you have to clip off for a good clearance? thanks

Man, I just don't remember but I may have some pics somewhere. You do need to machine the 380s. I remember cutting them on a band saw and then milling them nicely.
They made a world of difference on that boat. I have another post in here somewhere about the results but triple digit stability is achieved.
I will send pics if I can find them and if I can still post pics here..
