Powerboat Rage review

Does anyone have a copy of the power boat review of the Nordic rage for 2009? I would really like a copy of it if possible.

I purchased that boat from Nordic on Labor day weekend.
By the way i love it. Nordic builds a great boat.

BTW, (and if you are the new local Nordic guy) I'll look but I believe I have it and I can drop it by EKF or you can pick it up from me. I'm in Layton and won't need it.

Let me know,
Dave

Dave that would be great.
My boat is over at EKF they are getting winterized and they are working on the Raceview GPS speedo. It should be finished up on monday. I live in Ogden and work in centerville so I could probably pick it up if that works better.

Thanks for the welcome.

Nice to see more Nordics in SLC. Are you speaking of the green/white one w/ hp525? What lakes do you burn around in?

That would be the one.

I have only had the boat out a couple of times and I need to get the prop dialed.

We spend a lot of time at pineview. Most of the time is spent on the beach building sand castles with my 4 year old daughter rather than burning up the lake. I also spend a couple weeks at flaming gorge on the north end of the lake. If stars align I get one week down south at mead or havasu during the fall and spring.

LOVE THAT BOAT! I have that issue then saw it @ LA boatshow. Set up is awsome. What prop are you running? I'm thinking my labbed 28 might work well on that boat. Little too small for me, I've only used it at the Gorge. Your welcome to give it a try. I try to get up to Pineview every so often. That lake gets crazy crowded. Usual spots for me are Utah (aka mudpuddle) it's 25 min. Also Deer Creek & Starvation. Hope to see you out there after the thaw!

I currently have a Bravo I 26 pitch but I am not getting enough RPM, if I lab it I think I will get about 300 more RPM and be good. I tried a labbed 24 and it had good hole shot but I think my RPM was a little high. I would guess that the 28 would be a little to much prop but it wouldn'thurt to give it a try.

Did you run the 28 before the whipple?

What kind of speeds were you seeing on your rage before the whipple?

My boat only has 15 hours on it so it's still getting broken in.

Yes Pineview is crazy crowded, but the beach is great.

I bought the boat already w/ whipple from WA. Just repowered w/ 320 hrs & have about 35 on the new motor. Not sure how it ran before SC. The 32 worked good at lower elev but only ran 4900 here. I bought a 28 labbed thinking it would get me about right, but I hit the limiter. I sent in the 32 & went to 5100ish, but I think I need a 30. 83-84ish here with either prop, so 30 would be my ideal. Sounds like 26 lab is what you need here, but 28 would run good down south.

PS Now that it's broken in, WHIPPLE IT! You'll be hittin 90+! Whoo Hoo!

Is your Bravo I 26 pitch prop the same one they used for the Powerboat review testing?
