Dana manifolds

Hello, new on here, and have a question about some manifolds for a 97 scandia, 454 carbed mag. The engine is completely stock, and I just want a little more noise, for now. I think I am leaning towards the Dana manifolds, but not sure which ones, since it has the s pipes for under swimstep. Would just like to know which set would be best, and be an easy bolt on. Wondering if the long risers would work? I think I was looking at a vortex bravo #4 system. Since I would like to add more power someday, and the shorties talk about reversion. Thanks...

dana marine is a very good choice, most don't realize they are more of a tube header design than a manifold style and perform very well, i've personally had them on a 7.4 310hp and was able to spin a taller prop as my rpms went up from the swap, install was fairly easy and they include the oil filter relo, hardest part for me was getting those dam cast iron manifolds off
i would think you would need the short riser to work with your s pipes, but not 100% on that
p.s. welcome to OSO!

If you are going to add power someday put the longer risers in now on anybodies header. That way you do it once.
Dana's a good choice. Their header is gaining popularity fast.
You have a few choices though.
Heres the order I would go in.
1. Imco Powerflow plus
2. 3 way tie - Dana/Stainless Marine/Eickert
3. Eddie Marine
4. Gil
5. Stock replacement.
I hear revolution makes a nice piece and trust the guys that report on them.
East Coasters will pimp the Stainless Marine Gen 3's which are excellent but dont have the secondary runner length the Imco does.

Thanks guys. Was out looking at exhaust today, and don't have much room with those s pipes. They are squeezed in there pretty tight, not much room to work with. Thinking if I do just leave engine stock, would some short risers be ok? It's the 350 horse 454 mag. I just want it to sound better. Or am I wasting time? Don't beat me up too bad. Haha..

Exhaust is the foundation by which the rest of an engine build stands on.

here's a pic of mine on my 2000 heat. if your exhaust comes out on the driveshaft center line, it should be the same as mine
