How does that hull handle the extra weight and speed of a 525?
I'd think your price is reasonable considering the cost of that engine as an option is $35k.
I own the newer 22 Evo and constantly dream of the day I can afford a 450-500HP small block.

To be honest, I road like **** I think the big block is to much weight for for the boat, I was worried about spending the money on trim tabs because I wasnt sure if it was gonna work, the boat was insanly fast but at 85mph it deff made you white nuckle

Yeah that Heat should handle that engine MUCH better.
I test drove a Sprint with a 454 and it also drove like crap. It was like a board, it was terrible.
The new Evo with the small block is the best riding boat I've owned, that's why I'll keep the small block and just increase the HP on the little engine.

the funny part is when i bought the boat like 5 years ago it had the 454 mpi in it and I thought it was the coolest thing.. didnt really pay attention of how ****ty it road cause i was so excited i had a new boat.. The boat was in great great shape but now i knew why the 2nd owner sold it in 3 months... People always got into the boat and complained of how bad it road even on smooth water, but regardless I still love that boat cause it was deff a hot rod with that 525 but now im happy i got the heat

Not to spoil your hopes, but in this economy it'll may be hard to sell @$45k. I had my 02 Rage w/ loaded & a new 500+Whipple listed for months & had to let it go for $46k. I was happy with that in these times & I didn't take a loss.
I'm also in Utah where powerboats are a narrow market. It sold out of state.
