How do these two boats differ besides 1' in length

it looks totaly diffrent in person the on big diffrence is it had a 1350 teague motor in it.

The 28ss also has a much larger center pod.

The 28SS was designed by Thane Tiemer, the same tooler/ hull designer known for his bottom designs that you will find on most of the Daytona Series. The 28SS is more efficient and faster than the 27Thor. The 28SS that ran at the Ozarks shoot out was a standard vinyl ester layup with full interior.

Very nice boat with tons of power. Gt performance motor and rigging was over the top.
