Lunchpad475, you were asking some questions on a youtube video of a 90 mph Heat. That is my boat. Running 900 HP, 29 P5X prop @ 6000 RPM, ITS drive. It's an open bow which is a bit slower than the closed bow versions. Best speed I ever saw was 93 at 1000' elevation and summer heat. Never ran it in "good" conditions. I sold the engine to another Heat owner. It's still running good in the 90's. I installed a 700+ HP N/A engine in my Heat. It runs low - mid 80's for now. It's always in development. That's what I do...LOL

Great, thanks for the reply! I'm trying to gather data, I run an extension box on mine so the data is limited.
I've seen 87 with my 29 Hering 5 blade, but I think there is more there and that was on calm water.
