He's seeing around 80 - 85 depending on the weather. Most of the year was spent playing with the setup (new drive, labbed prop, etc.) I'm not sure what his final numbers were.

bobl,

Thanks for the info. Can you order direct from factory, or can you recommend a dealer to work with. I'm in Atlanta.

You can not order Nordic boats from the factory. We are a Nordic dealer located at Jamestown Ky. on Lake Cumberland. Just a 5 hour drive north of Atlanta. Unlimited Performance Marine www.unlimitedperformancemarine.com

Nordic Gary,

No problem dealing with you. Does this still mean that I can order a new Heat cuddy bow with no power?

No power, no problem. Most people order the minimum power to get the drive already installed. You generally come out ahead the stock engine can be easily sold for a good buck.

Eternal Warrior,

My motor is a blueprinted 502 with all the good stuff that dyno'd at 802 hp and 742 ft-lb of torque. This motor ran in front of a Volvo DPX for years without torque related drive problems. I love the stuff, except for the lack of gear and prop options.

25Daytona,

I spoke with Scott and he's emailing me pics of his 28 Heat cuddy bow. Thanks for the tip.

Hey VolvoRules,
Bobl IS a Nordic dealer. Check your logistics, he's in Texas and can order and rig the boat any way you want it. You could even pick it up in Havasu when done if that worked better for you. Power, no power, one of his custom engines, IMCO drive only, ITS drive only, whatever; ready for your motor.
