Nick, thanks for the ride!

It went something like this; Panther says: "I don't think I've ever run a motor on the rev limiter that long." Sakoutis3 Responds: "It's mine and I'll break it if I want to!"

Lot of lightening out there too!

He ran it like he stole it! Mr. V, I think I found someone that runs harder than you.

The new wheels didn't do anything except drop rpm's. I'm thinkin theres someting else wrong. Being out there with that storm comin in was wild.
I can't remember the last time I saw so much lightening. The one thing I found out is I don't like 4 blade props made the boat feel too loose.
What Panther said about runnin on the rev limiters is the truth. I don't think he ever felt them on his boat. I bang em regular.

Were you still banging the limiters with the new props? These were Hydros, 5 blades or 4?

If Panther set the limiters at 4200 he still would never feel them.

Ya think???

Yea, there was a lot of lightening last night, haven't seen it like that in a long time. One night I was working on Billy's boat lifts at his house, strikes were coming down all around me, his daughter thought I was crazy being out here but I had to get the job done. Besides, I'm not lucky enough to get hit.

Have fun in bos panther, Nick and I are meeting at the marina in half an hour to see what the old resin bucket will really do

Yeah still bangin the rev limiters, these are 4 blades. Until can figure this out I'm putting the 5 blades back on.

Panther couldn't get the boat down off the lift last night no power.

I would think 5 blades are the way to go on that boat. Would try a set of 5s that are a little steeper that what is on there now.

What pitch are your 5s?

I can show you how to lower the boat with 2 cordless drills, can't lift it but can lower it.

I see they stuck another lift over in b-dock, you should find a spot and see if you can put one in as well. I'm sure it won't be cheap but there has to be someplace to put one in down there.

Thats Jimmy S. 47' Fountain. Last year Chuck promised a slip over the winter Jimmy changed his mind and wanted one too. That was the only slip big enough that came available and he 's been there longer than me . Only right he should get it. Next year the docks to the west are being moved 15 or 20 feet. I should be over there then.
