Not at all, I was looking for a junker, something I could completely rebuild from the bottom up. I didn't expect the transom to have so much rot but at least it will come out easier , which had to happen anyway so I could raise it 4" and reinforce it before putting on the CMC jackplate. The floor is good but being cut out anyway so I can reinforce the bottom along the spray rail with kevlar and add bulkheads into the sponsons.

Actually I went down by the marina and that west wind has the ocean pretty flat!

Not sure but the chop helped me gain 1 mph, I'm over 80 now and with one tab half way down because of the wind!
