Fu%king weekend sucked! It was the first weekend I can remember since Memorial Day that I didn't get to use the boat. I was definetely spoiled..

Not sure about Monday yet but we'll probably stay local since I have a few other runs planned in Sept.

No way man, the bucket was still sealed shut and had 6 of those dryer packets in there too. Should have bushings today and I can start putting it together....well just the mid-bracket, the power head is a drop on. Now the lower.....that's another story. Said he shipped it today

Been so wet that my cover is growing green scum on it. I can't wait to see the inside. If the sun does actually come out thursday I'll be hard to find doing any kind of work ( sorry sak, I promise I'll get you some speaks in the cabin). Quick oil change on the stbd motor and I'm out! My report just says mostly cloudy from friday on

Saturday: A chance of rain and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Labor Day: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Well whats up for the rest of sept. ? I'm comitted to the LI poker run with billy in the sonic. Isn't there a nyc race next weekend? Gary said the LB ice boat club is doing some kind of river run with a mess of speed skiffs . just can't remember any of the dates. If you know , please post! If it stays crappy like this , I'm gonna get on the interior and get the boat to sarasota !

I'm not sure about the race, I haven't heard anything. It's usualy around the 8-10th?? Would be nice to get a bunch of boats to run up together!

Sept. 16th is Glen Cove. I'm going but not entered in the run.

W/E of the 23rd is open.

26th thru the 3rd of Oct I'm away in the Keys.

I think Oct. 7th could be the Hot Toddy???

Then that's it..

Not sure I can go another weekend with out a boat ride, I'm jonesin' for a fix.

Sept 10th is the SBI race on the Hudson. Not sure what the turnout is gonna be, cause there's also the OPA race in Ocean City, MD. (Seems most (if not all) the local boys are going to Ocean City.

The skiff regatta date on the Shrewsbury is Sept 26.

Not sure of the Hot Toddy date.

Ok, mother nature doesn't want me to use my boat anymore.... I was going to change plans and go to the NJPPC photo/video shoot which was rescheduled for Friday.....doesn't look good...

If the rain holds off that would be some great water for a Photo/ Video shoot. Air shots for everyone

Problem is getting the boat to and from the Photo Shoot, if your not a local Barnegat Boater it could be difficult. Poor visibility, strong wind gusts etc.....not a fun ride back to Sandy Hook.
