Thanks for the help. I heard Sat. last week was nasty!!!!!!

It looks like from the weather that Sunday shouldnt be too bad. Maybe equal or less compaired to last Sunday. The boat runs good in the rough water it is just the girlfriend hates it. We are taking a couple out which are new to boating so maybe we wll stick the LI Sound where the waters are calmer.

Panther, how do you think it will be this Sunday compared to last with all the times you have been around the hook?

Shore dreams I hear is a great event. Glad to hear you are going. I see your boat in the NYC poker run I believe. I was in it in 08. We were slower (obviously) but had a great time and hey at least we made it the whole way. Cat Killer broke and we passed him getting towed in.

If we even meet up at the hook would you mind taking me for a spin in a larger boat because I would love to see how it performs and if it is as different as everyone tells me before we upgrade in the future.

Thanks,

Jed

We made a run across Saturday and coming home we had a 20 mph head-wind so traveling at 60 mph it felt like 80 mph. After 30 minutes the wind on my head made my cheeks feel numb! The cool thing is the copter was out there taking pictures so I should be getting some shots coming across in the slop. :ernaehrung004:

My gut is telling me this Sunday will be better conditions than last Sunday. NOAA says Partly cloudy, with a high near 81. West wind between 6 and 8 mph. If you go early you're sure to run in calm water. Going home it might be a little rougher but at this point they're not calling for the 10-20 mph winds like we had last Sunday.

You can come for a ride anytime! Just don't let the GF come onboard cause she wont want to go back on the 24'. :eekdrop:

If you decide to come down let me know and I'll try and convince the wife/baby to go out for the afternoon. I'll PM you my cell number.

Oreokid and 007Joe, I highly recommend coming down for the annual Island Beach Bash. It's usually 2nd week in August. Live music on the beach and tons of boats/peeps.

NY Harbor
Sandy Hook to Manasquan

Any wind of 10-15 mph or higher can kick up the waters.
