As soon as I got on it he slowed back down afraid that I would kick his a$$. I figured that coming around the hook and running through the rip he would have tried to prove that the resin bucket could handle the water. After getting around the hook we had to wait for him, couldn't run back into the river without my buddy
As I recall, there were two times that day that you could'nt keep up with the old scow. Once near belmar... (I only ran to 4000 rpms), next time was up near Sandy Hook. Both times I SLOWLY nudged the throttles forward, giving you time to catch up. Even moving the throttles forward SLOWLY you couldn't catch me!!

It would have been eveb worse for you if I put the hammers down!

Thank G-D for ""Red Bank"", now the Jersey people have a place to hang out and think it's cool. Are the big tough wanna be Playas still smoking cigars and ordering Cosmopolitans at the local steakhouse.

Ya know what's even more hysterical!!!! I didn't even run WOT when we passed Mr. V. because my fuel system isn't set up properly and I don't have enough fuel pressure to run WOT. LOL

6:00 am phone call would never happen since I'd still be sleeping, maybe the phone call the night before would be like

NY Resident - I'll be on the road at 5:00 am pulling the boat down.

NJ Resident - Call me at 9:00 am to wake me, we'll meet at the dock at 10

Coming around the hook we couldn't even see you anymore you dropped so far back. Thought maybe you got swallowed up by that Navy freighter, we stopped cause we were worried about you.
