Re: Getting Ready To Do The Battleship!
T-minus 2 days to the Battleship Run. All systems… GO!
Some last minute information that you should be aware of.
The Sunoco station on Route 14, just before you get to the State Launch at Severn Point, does not have gas of any flavor! If you need to fuel your boat make sure you do so in and around Geneva or there is a station on Rt.14 in Dresden. To my knowledge the only fuel available on the water on Seneca Lake is on the opposite ends of the lake!
Trailer parking is still available adjacent to the Sunoco Station. I do not think that you are allowed to leave trailers at the launch at Severn Point overnight.
If you pull your boat and trailer down to the Showboat to register before you launch please be considerate. Do not block access to thru traffic, driveways or side streets, and do not encroach on private property.
We want you to have a great time this weekend. Just try to do it without going off the deep end!

No gas at the Sunoco Station?
Who will watch me and laugh when I get the truck stuck!?
Forget it...with a WNYOPA convoy and 50 boats...there will be plenty of people chuckling.

T-minus 37h 55m and counting to the Battleship Run. All systems…..GO!
I hope to see many of you Friday afternoon and evening. Bring your lawn chairs and get a good seat for CIARA LYNN!!!
Reminder that the Showboat will be open till 11:00 pm for burgers, sandwiches and such. I think they will even be serving adult beverages!
Does anybody have any connections with the Big Guy upstairs? If so can you have him do something about the T-storms predicted for Saturday afternoon? Like get rid of them!!!!
This is my last update…………. See you on the water!
