The river was quite today.... I guess 92 degrees scares off a lot of boaters. There was a nice breeze and the water was refreshing. I hope Sunday has more of you out there...

Two of my friends are headed up there for an overnight trip to Newburgh. I told them to check out Torches...

I'm staying local this weekend, spent some cash on fuel last weekend and still came back on empty.

ill show you a great spot to swim. ask paul hes been there. ill be spending the weekend on the boat in a raft up so just let me know where you want to meet. i was thinking of maybe a ride to newburgh for lunch then we could come back down the river if you want to stop and hang out for a bit.

I am trying to get some of my buddies down from Sacandaga to run the river. I will be putting in at Peekskill.

i think im going to the norwalk boat show on the 22nd but i should be out on the 23rd.

paxtonsc do you have a hoist at haverstraw? They are not going to let any new hoist's in to the marina. If I sell my hoist before I take it out the hoist can stay and the new owner can take over the slip.Do you need or now someone who would want the slip with a hoist at haverstraw?

Its a 1200 lbs hoist. I will keep the slip one more year unless i sell it.I do want to move the boat doun the shore around the toms river aera.The boat has been down their most of the season anyway.
