The Island didn't shift on me, it was a problem with depth perception by the end of the day! It kinda disappeared.

And I didn't fall, I stepped on a shell that caused me to loose my balance. And that's the story I'm sticking with! (Glad there's no pics of that one. Yes, I guess I usually have at least one moment an event that I am at my finest. Now let's see what Patchogue will bring in 2 weeks. I already got another bottle of SoCo.)

Dee, was this pic from our boat ride just before it got dark? It was so nice out there I wish we had a little more daylight for a longer cruise.

Yeah it was, the water was beautiful when we left.

I really feel bad that I could not go.It was still windy down here on Sat morning did not feel comfortable taking a 29 ft boat that far running outside. Took my trailer over to Beach Haven friday night was going to take it of the lift and trailer up but it was to nasty. Still want to come up maybe we can meet for lunch or something I will even buy. Pictures look great

As far as the sea conditions, the wind was about 10-15 mph out of the North until 11 am with a 1-2 ft cross chop and a north east ground swell. The wind went dead calm the rest of the day and a bunch of guys were out on the ocean in 20ft boats fishing etc...

I found the only way to know is just checking it out for myself!:cool-smiley-011:

Excellent day on the water today!!! Stayed local but that was the plan... Went down the navesink, over to the island for a couple hours, then up the back of the bay to keyport. :cool:

well, the weather finally broke and it's on the decline. October 15th.....the marina is unnoficially closed for the winter...

So now begins the waiting game until April 15th when it opens back up again!!! I plan on being in early next year!!!

It's gonna be 80 saturday. Mr Velocity even had the little cat out last weekend (though I'm sure he drained the oil from the big boats engines). You're rushing us just you can't come out and play. Bill said he was gonna pull the velocity home this weekend. I think I still have a few more runs in me after I tighten all the screws that came loose yesterday!

Yup, filled her up on Sat morning, put on the labbed 4 blade cleaver and took a nice "panther" ride in the river. Put the hyd steering in on Sunday, damn kid kept complaining his arms got tired, so we'll be heading back out this weekend :cool-smiley-026: In the mean time Panther will be sitting home hoping for bad weather, too bad Gore says there's global warming :D

Motors are coming out of the big boat for a little freshen, so I didn't drain the oil but I did fog them. If its nice enough I can fire 'em right back up but I think everyone knows I won't :D

Also got 1 of the 4 boats shrink wrapped, ah feel better that i don't have a ton of chit to do before we start with the ice boats :cool-smiley-027:

I'll bet you were laughing when you saw how nice it has been the last 4 days after we got all beat up on sunday.

I took Jodie, Ashley and Mollie over to the fishing pier by the spy house this afternoon. What an afternoon...not a boat in sight, it was flat as a lake! :cool:

Saying that my hands are full is an understatement! Enjoy the sleep while you can my brother! :hitfan:
