your best bet is Heckshire State Park. You will not have to worry about resident stickers because it is a state park. So you can pay for a day pass. It is also not a very far trip east to Patchogue. Only about 10 minutes.

There ir a ramp in patchogue. I launch my 38 Cig there all the time but its tight! Be carefull at the mouth of hecksire. its shallow!
