Seemed like a good day on the river today. Even though I had to work (WORK?) Lots of boats out there and it actually was a decent time with something to do at Penns Landing area. I wish someone would start promoting and organizing some events to get the area boaters interested. Mark, always a pleasure to have you and Nancy on board. Before we left we soaked all the people on the dock, They asked for it! It was fun!.

it sounds like you guys do alot of runs down to the chesapeake, this labor day weekend were making a 4 or 5 day trip down there. leaving out of croydon and gonna hit a couple of places on the chesapeake like jellyfish joels, red eye dock bar and the chesapeake inn, are there any other places to go to, red eye is probably as far south as i would like to go, right now its 2 boats going my 28 checkmate and my buddies 34 scarab. were hoping to catch up with some othere boats for the trip. we cruise at about 45mph so it shouldn't be that bad of a ride.

In between JJ's and Red Eye's is waterman's crab house in Rock Hall. Nauti Goose all the way up the NorthEast River. Of course Baltimore Harbor has a lot of sites. Those are the places I have been but there are more in addition to what you had already mentioned.

thanks, gonna check out the nauty goose online, i heard baltimore harbor is a nice place to go, i think the hard rock cafe is there, last labor day weekend we trailered to rock hall and went up to fairlee creek, so we stopped at the crab house for dinner one night.

We trailer down to Northeast MD and stay at the Holiday Inn then we put in at the marina next to the Goose and go from there. First trip will probly be the week after the 4th. Was hoping to get down sooner but several delays in my project have set me back a little. Almost there, hope to splash it end of next week and try a few props. I'll post as soon as we know when we go for sure.

its a bright red 28ft maxxum, with 2 200 mercs hanging off of a gill bracket. usually im up at bordentown at the sandbar.

were gonna go from 9/5 to 9/8. leave around 9 to 10am on saturday. pretty sure were definetly going to to jellyfish joels, red eye dock bar, naughty goose. not sure if were gonna cross over the bay to baltimore this year or not.
