Not sure what your budget is but this is the boat I would be looking at. These are the guys that built my motors. The boat is right in New jersey and thing has to fly!

Am I missing a link here somewhere?

Also Top speed is not really my main objective in a boat these days. I like a dual purpose boat with allot of room in it. My old 26 sutphen was a killer boat lots of cockpit space due to the outboards, ran great and hardly ever needed anything fixed, Looked great and cost me 1/3 of what most guys have spent to play the same game.

I have learned through the years drag racing theres always someone faster!

I used to raft up with guys here and in lake champlain etc and they would all say "man your boat is so freaking awsome its got all this room in it compared to my 38FT" whatever they had. I really learned to appreciate that boat and how it was set up, it probably wasnt for everybody but for me it was just about perfect until I had the kids.

Sorry hear is the link. http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o29685-en.html

I hear you about the drag racing thing but to each their own. I don't find a big thrill in going fast in flat water, I would much rather be out in some 3' rollers going 60mph plus. For me I love to run the boat and go somewhere. Running it in straight line full throttle for 60 seconds is something anyone can do but taking it out in some slop requires a little skill. When are we going to organize our first event??

I just typed a huge reply and it just disappeared. UGGHH man I hate that. Been happening to me on this site for about a week.

any way 60 seconds would be a long day of drag racing I usually spend about 24 seconds on the track the whole day. It takes a huge amount of skill to not destroy your car at a certain level.LOL
Many people I know who thought anyone could do it failed miserably LOL I guess it all depends on the type of car and classes you run.

Boating is great its like motorcross track that changes in front of you, your in the boat moving all day just a different animal all together.

We have had a bit of a set back with the articles of incorporation not getting done, and I am again handling Everything myself. Since I am in the middle of a boat purchase and have some other things going on and now have to step back in to do this it may take a little longer.

We dont have a bank account until we get this done. It was a very important task to the club. Without the bank account we cant do anything!

I have put the T shirts on my personal credit card to get them going in the mean time but thats a temporary fix. Once we get the articles done we'll be back on track .

We are incorprated but the bank needs this form for us to open the account.
If anyone wants to help out let me know, but please if you say you are going to do something follow it through to the end.
