Adam why did it drop a valve?

Valve float?
Did it break a spring?

I know on our pontiac turbo engines we need to watch valve spring pressures because they dont last very long.

Harmonics can be a ***** and in a boat because it runs specific RPM for so long it must really eat them up. Has anyone used the beehive springs in thier BBC's?

floated it when i blew a u-joint and overwound the motor. i have all the parts, but im in no rush right now as long as im good for the poker run.

do you run solid or greaseable U joints?

In the drag car we have switched to Non Greasable solid U joints Made by lake wood. they hold up very well.

got it on its flight plan. we will try to set something up to get some pics of the CPBA guys. flying low with turbo.

I was in Newport from Wednesday to Sunday...What color was the Bullet? I dont think Ive seen another Bullet out this year. What size is your formula? There a 29 ft twin step formula on an air dock next to my marina. Nice lookin boat w/ 2 small blocks.

Sept 18th is the same date as the Don Aronow Memorial Around Long Island race. Montauk is one of the checkpoints, the boats will be coming from the sound over to the ocean side around Montauk.

Please make everyone aware the race boats will be passing through those waters that day.

what marina are you out of?

Riverside marina in Portland. The Formula is ia at the next marina over, Portland Boat Works. The last time I talked to him, he was lookin to go bigger, but his boat was only a couple years old. I think he bought it new, so for him to trade it in so soon, he would take a hit on it. Beautiful paint/gel coat. It identical to Jayfans Formula here on OSO....which I believe is for sale too! Are the lightning bolts factory on your ride?
