Frank, you've been pent up in that McMansion of yours for too long, you're missing out on the finer things in life! :drink:
We'll have to drag you down to the Dirtwood one of these day. ;) The Aqua just opened back up and is starting to get busy on Friday nights, Sat. wasn't dead, but it certainly wasn't like it is after the holiday. They did incredibly well down there last summer, always busy on any given weekend night. Don't know if you've been to Donahue's or not, but that place is always nuts on the weekends, but it's typically so loud you can barely talk or move in there. Chips is always busy too, but they die off a little earlier than the others. A lot of decent bars and restaurants in a 2 mile area... |
Speaking of Clinton, Mike... any update on the 'new' Sutphen???

Scot I have been to the Driftwood many tomes just not in the last 20 years. I have also been in Aqua a bunch it is a good spot. We go to Chips a lot because the kids love it. Never been to Donahues though. I like the smaller dive bars, like the Whiskey Wind in Greenport or theology Farm in Saybrook:ernaehrung004:

Brian, who is starting the power boat racing museum in LOTO, picked up the boat yesterday and sent me this picture. He is in PA right now and I expect him to arrive at the Chester hangar around 1pm today. He sent a text around 11:30pm last night and said about 15 people gathered around the boat when he stopped at the hotel. I hope all the parts are still there:eek:
He said he was surprised how nice the boat looked considering its a 1988. Always nice to hear when you buy something sight unseen. Competition Marine Center went right through the boat. Pulled the drives and serviced them. Set the tracking? New impellers, tuneup, fluids, etc. Should just need a good cleaning, I hope.... |
Excellent and congrats again!
It should be interesting to see which shows up first today, the boat or Jeff! |

fights, police, not being able to go back to my boat...it was a thrilling evening... Too bad you weren't there frank, it was an unforgettable evening... ;) |
Just heard from Kreed there are 15 footers on his cruise but he seems to be having a good time, he said the Norwegin cruise liner handles it very well and definately was not designed by the same guy who designed the 31 Sutphen:evilb:
