Jeff- this is Christine. This is no embellishment at all. I cannot even tell you how different my sister is from me. Scot really nailed it with the "Twins" reference. She is really the EXACT opposite of me!!
sure it is and this is charlie sheen writing this too.:lolhit: Okay, "this is the old guy"..... really Jeff, I wasn't far off. Why, are you interested?[/QUOTE] No, Im just neither as superficial or mean as you!:kiss: Tisk tisk |

Watch for all the shat in the river guys!
I was out in the Sound yesterday... in the kayak. :party-smiley-004: The water is COLD!!!! :evilb: |
Jeff, is Mike still coming through the shoreline today? I never heard from him.
|
I would but I got a high hazmat job next week in westchester county New york. I going try to do the hudson run if my roller rockers get done.:evilb:
|
Scot Hes probably, there by now but he hung out at my place for a while. We took the turbo car out for a ride and wetook the lower units off my boat to get them ready for the season.
He said he would have left earlier but my car is so much cooler than yours he just had to stay a little longer.LOL Plus my boat is bigger and so are the engines. He said thats why you were second on the stop. He also said maybe IF you ever buy a cooler boat it would move you up a little, hed normally go to kevs first but since he sold his CIG hes not even on the list anymore! |

HAHAHAHA honestly it is the best event on the river hands down!!! Those who have expereienced it, know what I am talking about. Its a giant drinking/water fight on water...
I am all set with a seat thanks. I am always on Mike Smith's (Smitty) wellcraft scarab handing out cards. In 2009 I manned the water balloons and water cannon. This past year, we destroyed you guys with a gas powered water pump!!! hahaaha...Its my favorite day of the year. Not to mention the cookout and the party at night...Its a great event. You ride with (Smitty)? I will not comment on his work.... |

I'll just sadly have to accept the fact that I'll never be as cool as you are and move on. :( Glad to hear you guys got the car out and had a productive afternoon. So what did you do with the lowers? |

Yes its a great day on the water, in the 2010 run you soaked my dinghy in the run. We had to flip it over on that sandbar in front on celden creek on the south side.

Those sportmasters tend to heat up push out the oil and then cause vacuum when they cool pulling in seawater. The sportmasters all do it. The vent kit and seal kit will cure the problem. Did you guys take you Viper out? I think Sick wants to meet the mean short chick!:evilb: |

Nothing Yet, One needs at least one new bearing but Ill probably change them all to be safe and they both are getting an upgraded seal kit and vent kits.

The neigbors love that one since it has no mufflers. Cops drove by within 10 minutes. :drink: Regarding the wild boar, I dont think Mike has spurs nasty enough. Besides, I think she plays for the other team... I feel for the chic getting bent over by her! :D |
BTW, Mike's GF (Christine) was disapointed he didn't call yesterday. She was looking forward to taking him to lunch. I was looking forward to getting her out of the house. :D

To make a long story short, he told me he would do a survey on my boat, I called and left him messages. He never got back to me. Then his buddy had an outboard for me I was going to buy, Smith said he would rig it for me, never heard back from him so I lost out on the outboard deal as well. Oh well I guess he was busy.
Remember he has 220 boats to potentially service just within Hays Haven let alone surrounding marinas and states. Between servicing, surveys, winterization, etc...He is just overwhelmed with stuff. I think Jamie puts priority on what he works and what he doesnt. Just my opinion though. He is very knowledgable though. He often diagnoses problems on the first go around. He's been in the game for 20+ years. I dont want to defend him too much but he is a good guy. |

Aren't those engines almost new? With all the issues they've had with those sportmasters over the years, you'd think they would have addressed that at the factory by now...

Why wouldnt they include a freakin Vent on them by now??? Mike says hes in love W her, but hell settle for christine.LOL Didnt he ever show up? Why no mufflers on the NON turbo Viper? |

He called me originaly thinking I was you (gee, thanks Mike) wanting to know where you were... imagine that, you being late! I was hoping to hear from him later in the day, I could have sent Christine off with him for the day. It would have been nice for me to get her out of the house. She really likes him, she thinks he's cute, like that little talking hampster in Dr. Dolittle. The other Viper is pretty much a hard core track car... full cage, fire supression system, Lexan front and back, etc. mufflers weight too much. :D I dont think I've ever been in a louder car. Even with ear plugs and a full face helmet, that thing makes my ears ring after only being out on the track for a half an hour! |

Probably the same reason they keep bolting bravos on boats making more than 500 hp, because they know we'll be back in line to buy another within a couple of years. :lolhit:
Thats probably the case plus no one is making anything HI PO thats better, so they cant lose!:evilb: I never heard from Mike. Adam, saw pics, boat looks great...
I'd really rethink dry pipes...it's going to get ticketed left and right..I heard this year they're going to be out in force... State needs money..and boaters are a new perfect source of revenue... :coolcowboy: |
id rather pay the fine. it gives me to much satisfaction when i crank them up.........:coolcowboy:

Turbos are LEGAL mufflers in NJ! Just sayin!

Dont take it personal, he is wicked busy. We are really good friends with him and receive the same treatment as you. As a result we do a lot of our work ourselves and he provides some input, tips, etc.

I work with DEP alot at hazmat spills and I asked one of them about boats and stuff. He said this year they will be checking boats with some decibal meter for noise and if they fail and have no mufflers its about 600.00 first time and they have the opption of writeing a ticket for public distruburance or escort u and the boat back to the boat launch and suspend your reg until you pass the noise test
