Had me practically in tears!
No doubt, the offer to help is always open Mike, just let me know!

It worked x10!
Different builder, but ironically dyno'd almost exactly what the other on did... which brings up another interesting point, why didn't this show up on the dyno??? It should spent more time on the dyno and run hotter than that little bit you had it running in your shop.

Is a floating wrist pin and they never put the spiral lock in ?? THAT WOULD BE MY GUESS But if its not torn down what makes them think its a cylinder issue?

It's most likely bearing or cylinder clearance based on the discription Mike's giving. It's loosening up when it cools down. My best guess would be cylinder clearance since an issue will show up as more severe if it's tight there because it will have more mechanical leverage at that location compared to the bearings. My worthless 2 cents...

Yeah we went to new Orleans and looked at it. Boat is very very rough to say the least. Nothing on the boat could stay without being somehow changed or restored. Motors, drives, paint, interior, fiberglass, trailer, you name it.
