I actually ended up buying a boat last week, but I was keeping it a secret from you guys :grinser010:..... Basically a family friend of a friend (got that?) was looking to dump his Four Winns bowrider that he never uses (he is 80+ yrs old), so it basically fell in my lap and it is something to get me out on the water to our local hangout. Even if I bought a new boat next year I would still probably keep this one just to beat the hell out of and not care. He even threw his slip at no extra charge! I'll start inviting myself (will most likely have a chick with me) on boats later on this week when ppl have a better idea of what they are doing and I see what kind on turnout we can expect at the run. It's a little bit of a hike for me so want to make sure there is something worth going up for (otherwise I'll drink on my beater!!!)
