Scot I have been to the Driftwood many tomes just not in the last 20 years. I have also been in Aqua a bunch it is a good spot. We go to Chips a lot because the kids love it. Never been to Donahues though. I like the smaller dive bars, like the Whiskey Wind in Greenport or theology Farm in Saybrook:ernaehrung004:

holy sh!t scot...thats a sweet boat congrats. i expect a couple invites this summer. where are you keeping it? i know all of this has probably been posted but what kind of motors?
Keeping it at my house, I live really close to the ramp. The engines were built by Atlanta Speed Shop, they are 1000/1100's. There's a picture of the boat on their site. They have an amazing shop with some insane stuff in there, the place has to been seen to be believed! http://www.atlantaspeedshop.com/OUTS...CUSTOMERS.html |

Hi Scott,
The Sutphen looks pretty good for a 1988. I have been cleaning it all day. Lot of road grime from the trip and the interior was pretty dirty. It was really cool when I opened the engine cover and saw the 2 engines in there. That's a first for me. I removed the vinyl lettering from the transom. I was talking to Jeff today about names. I think I am going to go with "Old School" Anything has to be better that "Go Fish" Does anyone know a good airbrush guy that can work on a boat? I was thinking vinyl but for what I want to do, I think painting the name on will work better. I need to cover the area where the old letters where, in between the exhaust outlets, and I would like the name to match the stripe on the side in 3 colors of Blue and do the letters in a checkerboard racing style. I should have some pictures to post by tomorrow or Friday and figured I would start a thread in the Sutphen forum. |
explicit airbrush southington CT does good work

scot, i think you have found your official boat b!tch!!!! this guy :coolcowboy:

scot they used to have a nasty Sutphen on that site a few years ago I think it was a 33 with blowers. white with a red stripe and arnesons. Your boat is sweet any silent choice on that baby or is it a migraine maker, like kevz boat!:drink:
Oh yeah, strictly migrane maker... but it does have headsets/intercoms for those with tender heads. ;)

In fact sutphnes got a nice Deisel 28 here in RI brand new I could get you a very nice price on! Only runs in the 50's but I am sure you could put some more boost to that baby and some upgrades and get that number up. Its a got a killer range on fuel though and right now thats the name of the game. |
theres a center console PP with 600's that runs in the 90's....pretty bad ass boat
