Frank, Adam, Pat......meet me at the ramp at 11. :evilb: |
Never said I would run against a 37 OL with 1100hp a side. I'll put a 37 AT up against a single step 525 37 OL any day of the week. A OL is a far superior product to anything else we can all agree on that. The AT will also eat a 525 38 top gun for lunch.
|
On a different note, the sutphen cheerleading squad seems to have gone missing

Bold statement there......anyone disagree? Is Adam now on top?...So hes faster than a 37 OL with equal power, and eats TS 525 Guns for lunch! Is there anything in the 38 ft range that can touch him now? :party-smiley-004: |
Dans OL with equal power will blow my doors in and its bigger. But, in that size range with a shower, bed, toilet, micro, fridge, etc..., I think its hard to beat

On the other hand, be careful with that luxury rocketship of yours... the only two single step 37 AT's that I know of in CT now have both spun, rolled, and went fishing! :grinser010: |
Atleast nobody got killed, which is the outcome of about 4 OL that I can think of that rolled . :drink:

Just for comparison the only epoxy 37 OL built was a staggered 525 boat and ran 90+ with full cabin. Also not cool bringing up the only OL accident that had deaths due to driver error.

Probably safe to say all of these spins/rolls had some driver error related to them...

Good info Dan. Would you say that boat is comparable to Adams? There is a staggered 37 AT that ran 95 with 600's.
|
Just making a point sorry dan. We all know the offshore rollover legend, cigarette takes the cake in that category.

With that being said, you know as well as I do Adam's wont have 'stock' power either, if he ever gets this one put back together! :drink: |

OL and AT do not have them beat even on a percentage basis.
|
Frank that would be considered cheating. My name isn't reggie fountain

There's no quad steps missing. One was run up on rocks and the other was burnt in a barn fire in Maine. Why isnt there 1 Cigarette that handles well at 120+mph? Your last statement makes zero sense. Also there was more than 4 built. Any more wrong information you want to post?

Gorgeous boat as is the 40 OL you guys have now. What year was that? I know you base a part of your Cig impression on owning this boat but is that a fair comparison? I am not sure never been in a Gladiator and not sure how they compare to the ride of a TG. What the rigging from one company to the next? I believe it was Pat that told me that OL could learn a lot from Cig on rigging. Pat if this was not you then I apologize but I know it was an OL owner who used to own a Cig before and I am pretty sure it was you that said it. And again off it was Pat his boat is 10 years old and I am sure things have changed.
