A big d!ck head in 75mph porpising outboard boat with a windshield the size of a billboard. Oh and by the way Pat and his dad owned a Cigarette before.

Oh and by the way are you bringing your boat to OP for storage or am Kevin and I the only ones utilizing the clubs discount.

Wow that thing is sweet and 105mph is pretty impressive for a straight bottom behemoth.

Because Pat traded the Cig in for the Outerlimits at Ocean is the reson I was able to get my Hustler Slingshot. The Hustler was traded to Chris for Nauti Kity from CA. Never brought that up before. Thanks buddy!:D

302Sport 11-17-2011 09:43 PM

If I was going to buy a boat that said cigarette on the side, it would have to be one of those skaterette 46 rough rider half breeds

+1 Buddy ha!

Frank: You should've heard the stereo that was in it...it was ridiculous...all custom done, 4x 12s under the back seats...alpine type Rs...(the best at the time, Xs weren't out yet)...she was a bear once you lifted those tabs...she liked to fly...all custom rigged for dual helm...it was a great boat...but I feel...the right decision was to move to the OL :)

Cigarettes bottom design is still in the stone age so you made a good choice :party-smiley-004:

...here we go..I hear the loyal cigarette following marching up the hill, the Skater Rough Rider...I mean Cigarette...my bad...

Sick Stinger 11-18-2011 02:09 PM

Anyone ever notice the OL logo seems that design is familiar for some reason. Something similair to a componey started in '69 but thats just an observation. Reminds me of the idea behind Hyndia name it close to honda so people buy it. Why not make a logo similar to another well know offshore brand HMMMMMMMMM......

Adam,...of course the guy at the Bentley dealership is gonna tell ya Bentleys are the best !!!!

BUT, Id be curious to hearing what a guy at the OL dealer(with no stick in the fire here) says when comparing the 38 TS Cigarette bottom to the 37 stepped Active Thunder bottom! Lets get an opinion comparing the two from someone on the outside.........Dan?:party-smiley-004:

302Sport 11-18-2011 06:41 PM

read your hearts out..........

302Sport 11-18-2011 06:44 PM

i will put the active thunder up against any 38 525 cig or donzi and go by them, while having a bed, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, and refrigerator. when you read those threads it seems to me like there are a lot of cig guys that took one ride in an AT and never looked back. just sayin.....

WildThing47 11-18-2011 06:52 PM

Just as with Outerlimits, when you realize the future, you turn quickly ;)

Can't wait to see this bad boy together Adam! :cool cowboy:

it amazes me, haha this will turn into a AT vs. Cig thread...haha...

kreed 11-18-2011 07:17 PM

Ok Ok Ok. Im not here as a cheerleader boys. I am a big fan of Active Thunders. I am also a Cigarette fan. Both great boats and very comparable IMO. I was simply asking an unbiased OPINION of someone who seems to have some stepped hull knowledge....BTW, very recently a 37 AT owner sold his AT to go back to a Cigarette...just sayin.

I don't know Customryder had a 38 TG sold it bought a 37 Active with a whipple set up and sold that and went back to Cigarette. No reading necessary :asskiss:

When they start making good looking boats with their own logo design I will buy one. I don't think I have to worry about that anytime soon:grinser010:

oh jesus ..... how many threads has this turned...I think the tally is at 12.... ;)

I have noticed you in all of them:party-smiley-004: Okay this is my last brand thread reply. Aahhh who my kidding you guys will bring it up again. I have to say Adam the 37 Active Thunders have always been on my short list, it's a great looking and well appointed boat. I would love a ride in it this summer. For me it fits all the needs I would have and has the best cabin in the business and doesn't need big drives. Now back to brand bashing if I was looking for a fast sit down boat I would buy a Bass Tracker.:drink:

302Sport 11-18-2011 10:27 PM

Customryder goes with the deal of the year, we all know that so it doesn't carry much weight that he switched up brands
