New business venture anyone??? I wonder what it is really worth for day of running and partying for someone who has not ever been out there. Gotta be a 1,000 for 4 passengers. I think this is another reason Scot should buy a boat it will pay for itself. Jeff of course will take you out for half that.

that is a pretty neat idea...im sure many people would book trips from old saybrook to claudios and back...say $100 per person plus tip. dependent on fuel prices of course.

that could be descent income for a day on the water.

Hey Frank,

I think you posted more yesterday than you have at any one time all winter... extremely bored, the kids driving you nuts, or are you starting to gear up for summer?

BTW my brother and I looked into doing this a few years back, Its doable but you have to have a captains lic. insurance. and preferably a back up boat incase something breaks down.

It wasnt a inexpensive affair to get up and running and I am not sure CT could support it since so many people here are more Sail boat cruiser oriented or they already have freinds with a performance boat.

I wasnt willing to gamble on it myself, plus turing my boating into work would only make me HATE IT!

I've been out on your boat one time D-bag (and I seem to recall buying you and your wife lunch/some drinks), and then once for a quick 10 min. amusement park ride (aka the "Bucking Betty show") on the CT river when Kev got his boat. Geeezzzzzz!

Even though it sounds like I owe you the world now, you're welcome to borrow my kayaks anytime you want. I wont even charge you for it or hold it over your head...
