we are in the midst of organizing a get together on the water...we need to settle on a location which is proving to be difficult because no one has docks in yet...

You won't see me in for a month....but sounds good!

If it's on the water and it hasn't been detrmined where or even announced yet, I would think you have time. :)

If anyone wants my two cents, I would suggest on or after Memorial Day for our first GTG as a club event. It sounds like a long time away, but it's right around the corner and the weather between now and then is likely to be cool, and the warer is really cold! Plus thats when all the businesses are in full swing.

That's scary sh1t, last time I saw anything like that was when that douch hit the sail boat in Saybrook, killed a woman and fell out of his boat.

Video from Saybrook incident: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1hADs9yDNk

Watch the guys in the black/yellow seatow mako throw a line in the prop.

Why the Tow boat inflatable didnt pull up along side the boat and jump on is beyond me. The path of the CC was pretty predictable IMO. What was the yellow and blackboat thinking who rolled it over on flat water. LOL

I was on the water that day and had run through there just about 30 minutes before this happened, Heard about it later at Back porch.

The Water is a dangerous place that deserves repspect in the river or in the sound it can come up and snatch you whenerve it wants. especially when DRINKS are involved.

One day my buddy and I were racing a Newer Chris craft in to the CT river Between mini golf and the bridge, the guy was getting stupid between other boats and caught a wake wrong almost jumped right onto the back of a CC. He was a russian guy and PLASTERED showing off for some chicks he had on board. I had to back out of it before he KILLED someone.
He was just taking stupid chances and not working the thrittles at all through the wakes just wide open all the way!

No one is going to have the DOCKS in by the time of the GTG. Thats the problem. We planned way in advance but we are also trying to get it done BEFORE the river is over crowded so guys can have some fun!:evilb:

Docks are historcally in by the 1st of may!
