I've said it before, but the draw to Greenport for me is the ride, BBQ Bills, the boats, and hanging out with people I know. I get sick of Claudios (the bar itself) really quick for some reason, so i'll save up my time there for when I know it will be worthwhile.
let me know what your plans are for lennys because we will have a bunch of girls on board and my bet is they are going to want to hit the beach instead of claudios. and it appears as though no one is going to greenport anyways.

In this case you're better off going past Bills to the slips and then turning around.

BTW, I've never seen them charge for docking there...
Awesome thanks Scot that's the info I was lookin for. Haven't been there in awhile and never with this boat. My depth finder is a P.O.S. and doesn't work, so i didn't want to try it and get stuck in the mud.

Yes, but again you need to watch the tides as I dont think you'll be able to go under the bridge at high tide. I've been there a couple of times in a 38 TG with no issues.

Can anyone confirm or know if/what they charge? thanks.
I used to go there all the time in my smaller boats......but I don't like going over that way because of the ROCKS! I came WAAAAAAAY too close to one over off Saybrook/Westbrook which scared the sh!t out of me. There's some shoal off Saybrook that you have to be careful of....... and I thought I was out far enough but OH NO!!!!! The top of the rock juuuust stuck out of the water about 20' off my port side.......!

With that being said I was VERY glad I didn't hit anything or break anything!

Amateurs, read your charts...

I can tell this is your first rodeo...it's ok, we will get you through it...maybe not your drives, or your boat, my advice to you, is to start drinking heavily...because we all know, you're going to buy...A Sutphen...and name it "Moisture Missile"...it's ok...you can have your bimini, and giant ww2 destroyer windshield...

you can fly that thing to the moon, it'll be exciting...
