Hit the Delaware River today for a couple hours dodging debris everywhere. Wasn't horrible but not great either. Had my 79 year old father on the boat for the first time so slower was good anyway.

All ready for the Chesapeke next weekend. Got a bad reminder that not only do you need to put the bilge pplugs in before going out but remember to remove them when you come in. After all that rain we had there was over a foot of water in the bilge. Now I have a mess to clean up for sure. It was all new and shiney too, Damn it!

Was out today between Riverton and Burlington. Lots of junk but I only saw one piece big enough to really worry about. Was a nice day with not too much traffic.

It's the crap you can't see, just below the surface that will get you everytime. Whole tree submerged with a little twig sticking out. It was nice though. What gets me though is the jet ski retards that first, think they can run with me. granted a few of then are fast but as I pull away from them at 60-70 if I hit something I might break something, if they hit something its a funeral.

Anyway. clean the boat up during the week and get ready for Rock the Bay this coming weekend. guess Demag and myself are the only takers? Too Bad!

how do you get a foot of water in the bildge...are your pumps manual? if so maybe try a set that are on auto pilot. Seriously i never seen that besides when i helped a guy who lost his outdrive under the tacony.
