I was under the impression that the town owned the dock, and the building. People at HP once told me that they had no control over the dock. If that's still the case I don't see how they can hassle you for not using their restaurant. Of course Middletown may have a rule about parking there.

Its now Jazz night there on Sunday nights! Hahahaha, what a joke. We need a new place to hang while on the river. Hayes Haven should open a bar/restaurant....this way Justin could crawl to his truck!

Town Hall has the answer.
I remember reading an article in the paper that described some controversy about the lease agreement between HP & the town. The town was trying to end the lease. No idea where the Canoe Club came from. That was a surprise when I saw it. I thought the town was trying to incorporate the building into that park. Could be they didn't like the crowd. If that's the case sounds like they got their wish
