I have July and most of August booked, which means since most of the things I have booked are popular boating related events, some others might as well also.

I would suggest the weekend of June 14 or June 21 would be good target days for the Oaks Bluff trip.

Also, to avoid the hassle of the ramps, is there a marina in the same area of the proposed ramps that would offer a travel lift? I might be more inclined to just use someone's travel lift so I don't have to worry about the hassle and security of an out of town public ramp.

Scott,
I really think the safest ramp will be Taylor point in bourne.
Go to the town of bourne website and take a peek. It's a marina also.
There's not a lot of places with travel lifts that would be convenient. If You Wanted To Go that route I'd look into zeco in Wareham.

Just an FYI ,all the slips against the bulkhead are free, and first come first serve, before Memorial day,and after Labor Day. We always do an early run and grab a slip. If you go over peak season, leave EARLY! If the weathers good, the town moorings fill up fast. I'll keep an eye on the thread, and shot over. Jeff

Plymouth would be about a 20 min run S to the canal. Then 45 mins off plane to cross thru the canal
Then past mass maritime, Taylor point and into buzzards bay.
