Can we nail down a time to leave from Saybrook???? Here is the S&F thread, looks like 9-930 is the approximate time to leave.... http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...un-2014/page11

Historically there have been many small groups running up the river together. People launch from all over the place, plus there's also all different types of boats that attend so it's kind of hard to run together in one big pack.

We usually stop and gather a decent group of offshores together around Harbor Park (Canoe Club) and run the last 10 miles up to Pizza Beach as a group. Once there I'm sure most of us will be rafting up together.

I'm understand Scot, but do you agree leaving Saybrook around 9-930 is a good time to try and catch some action on the way up??
